City officials will host an orientation on June 2 at 10 a.m. in the City Hall Auditorium for youth participating in the 2016 City of Montgomery Summer Jobs Program, a pilot program designed to offer jobs to Montgomery youth ages 17-21 years old. Participants will work 20-30 hours per week as office staff, light laborers, staff assistants, recreation counselors and other positions as needed.

The jobs program begins on June 6 and ends July 15. Pay is set at $7.50 per hour, and paychecks will be issued every two weeks.
